The changing dynamics in the market place mean that all organisations, regardless of size, need to look seriously at the company makeup/DNA.
Many organisations are fragmented at grass roots level with poorly cascaded and misunderstood messages.
True leadership is much more about stewardship, coaching, mentoring and guiding than it is about management.
Leaders need to find a way to converse with the whole organisation at the same time: one message, and one voice. They should be open, direct and capable of being brutally honest. They must engage and connect with the whole organisation and create a true feeling of togetherness: foster the belief that the company can come through a crisis with integrity and can go on to prosper, thereby creating a sense of involvement and true participation across the whole organisation.
